About the event
Would you like to set new intentions for the New Year, connect with nature, realign with rhythms in your life, and inspire more positive dreams while sleeping? Join me to create and weave your own dream catcher with supplies from right outside your door. This session will start with a ten minute guided meditation and an honoring of those who came before us in creating this sacred tradition. We will start with a few instructions as we move into creating a dream catcher. This free virtual class on zoom will be a 60-minute session with intention setting, community and creativity. We'll wrap up with a mini talk about a program being offered on daily habits to help anchor your mind, body and spirit throughout the year. Before we meet, take one or two walks outside your door to collect supplies for your dream catcher. You can pick up twigs (grapevines are good), flowers, feathers and anything else you would like to add to your creation. If you can’t find things outside, you can always purchase them online or at an art store. You can also dig around in your jewelry box for beads, or lost earrings. Have the supplies nearby when we meet virtually. Join us as we honor indigenous cultures in their tradition of weaving and creating sacred decorations. These traditions help create a deeper connection with intentions and our mother earth, who provides a home for us. You can hang your dream catcher above your bed to protect you while sleeping so the good dreams are brought forward into your life. Leave this class with refreshed inspiration to connect with nature, your body and your dreams.
